About d'Manti
Sparkling…dazzling…mesmerizing… are a few of the adjectives that describe the artist. Her live performances embody the passion and fervor of the woman. And her chameleonic ability to transform and seamlessly move from actor, to singer-songwriter, to show woman—exemplify the allure of D’MANTI.
Born and raised in showy Las Vegas, NV, it was natural for D’MANTI to be attracted to the stage. But she also had an inclination for service, and thus, enrolled in the US Marine Corps where this woman of steel, served as a Sargent.
Her gloriously adventurous soul and her passion for lights, led to the start of her career as a performer where she worked in theatre productions, television shows and independent films such as "Soul Savior Chronicles," "Honolulu Knights," "Johnathan Gullible Rottingham," "Seeking Rainbows," "Blind Trust" and "Man's World." Her work in film generated an aspiration to produce, a feat she accomplished in 2012, with the release of “Unknowns/Desconocidos”—a film that D’MANTI co-produced and acted in alongside Francisco Gattorno, Sonya Smith and Gabriel Porras.
All along, her musical inclinations simmered and her songwriting prowess began to emerge. In 2011, she joined mega producer Luny Tunes in the studio and created the Billboard charting song “Tonight”, a pop-dance fusion with a hard-hitting beat. The debut single also received notoriety on the FMQB Record Pool charts claiming the #13 slot and entered at #40 on the National Dance/Crossover charts. "Tonight" peaked at #2 on the Most Added Dance/Crossover Tracks chart for the week ending October 3 playing all over the world in places like Australia, Japan, Canada, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Slovania, Turkey, Italy, France, Belgium, Spain (Canary Islands), Iceland, Malta, United Kingdom, Philippines, Argentina, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Russia, and Switzerland.
Following that success, D’MANTI released to iTunes October 2012 “Step Through the Door [Freeze]”, a song that showcases her musical evolution. The music video for the song was filmed in the singer’s native city and was conceptualized by the artist herself. Chetoff Creates, who helmed the video for “Tonight”, also directed this one.
A fervent entertainer, D’MANTI joined forces with choreographer Doriana Sanchez (Cher, “So You Think You Can Dance?”), to produce a spectacular live show with songs from her upcoming debut effort, that showcases her artistry, musicality, and the glamour of Vegas with a Latin flair. She recently debuted the electrifying show at the famed LA PRIDE stage, sharing it with Latin superstars Maria Jose and Ivy Queen, and continued at the 42nd Annual San Francisco Pride celebration, leaving the audience desirous.
Having been exposed to a multicultural world, D’MANTI has the gift of being fully bilingual in English and Spanish, which are both languages that she performs in. As she puts the final touches to her upcoming full-length album, D’MANTI will embark on a promo tour in support of “Step Through The Door [Freeze]” that will take her to various cities through the United States.
